Vice Dean Shares Insight on Higher Ed. in Miami with Asian Real Estate Association
Anuj Mehrotra, vice dean for the School's graduate business programs and executive education, shared insight on the strengths of higher education in Miami during the September launch event for the Greater Miami Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA). Mehrotra highlighted the  university's commitment to providing and inclusive environment for those of all backgrounds. 
MBA Student in Washington, D.C., to Lobby for Support for International Center

MBA student Viviana Soto, in Washington, D.C., Sept. 24 to lobby the Department of Education to continue supporting the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at the University of Miami and other universities across the country. Soto was joined by Niccole Iglesias from our CIBER along with CIBER reps from Georgia State, San Diego State, and George Washington universities.

Miami Herald - September 25, 2015 - An article about child athletes succeeding in the workplace included quotes from Mary Young, director of the School's Ziff Graduate Career Services Center, who noted that "Goal setting and achievement, high pressure and stress situations...are skills that student athletes possess and can bring to the professional work space." The article also noted that the School offers an Executive MBA program designed for artists and athletes. Article

Triangle Business Journal - September 15, 2015 - An article featured research by DJ Nanda, professor of accounting, which found that chief executives new to the job are three times more likely to get fired for poor performance, even when they perform no worse than their more experienced peers.
