New Vallejo Park & Ride Something to be Thankful for!
|
The new Curtola Park & Ride is a boon to the underserved corner in Solano County that for years has been a popular location for casual car pooling and bus service. The new $15 million facility brings more parking spaces, security improvements, and restrooms along with a dedicated casual carpool area and electric vehicle charging stations. The facility is powered by solar infrastructure and offers commuters a safer, more comfortable place to leave their cars behind and take advantage of alternative commute choices. As members of the community whose employees will benefit, BOLT tips our hats to those political leaders who made it possible, including US Representative Mike Thompson, State Senator Lois Wolk, Solano Supervisor Jim Sperring and everyone else responsible for this community asset.

Thanksgiving: A year of Blessings
Thank you from Joanne Sanders
|
This year our business challenges have come in a most welcome form. In contrast to a few years ago, we find ourselves hustling to keep up with an economy in full recovery. I am thankful every day for the for the people I am blessed to work with. Our growing in-house staff keeps our business strong and headed in the right direction. Our assignment employees are the industry's best and are the face of BOLT in our clients' workplace. Of course no business would exist without clients, and it is because of you that we all have jobs. I am grateful that you trust us to find qualified people to help your enterprises succeed. We are all blessed to work in one of the most beautiful regions on earth and also in one of the most vibrant economies on earth as well. Please accept our wishes for the best Thanksgiving holiday for you and yours'.

We've recently welcomed Mike Ioakimedes and Andrew Noerr to our staff. Andrew is taking the newly created position of Sourcer. A recent USF grad, he will be identifying potential candidates for our clients' job openings. Indeed the job market has become so tight that we need a full time person to identify and keep in touch with qualified talent. Mike will be leading our Government Staffing
efforts. He brings a wealth of contacts from years of independent business experience as well as his years as an elected official on the Benicia City Council. For more on the tightening job market, see this article.
