| It was all business as BOLT Staff learned about the latest Sick Leave mandates.
|
We recently held a training for all BOLT staff members to insure that we are in full compliance with the recently amended law signed by Governor Brown in July. Employees will see information about accrued leave on their paystubs.
The amendments to the law mandate paid sick leave and specify minimum accrual rates, as well as record keeping and posting requrements.
The newly revised law affects all employees in the state of California.

BOLT Earns National Recognition (again)!
ASA Recognizes BOLT with 2015 VOICE Award.

The American Staffing Association (ASA) recognized BOLT's recent direct mail campaign with the 2015 VOICE Award. VOICE stands for v  ision, originality, innovation, communications, and effectiveness. We were proud of the creative graphics and messaging in the three mailers we sent out and entered them in this summer's contest.
"Naturally we are thrilled to be recognized once again for our efforts to provide a creative and effective campaign," said Joanne Sanders, BOLT President. "Communication is a significant part of our business strategy and obviously, it's important that our investment is recognized by our peers as well as other businesses," she said.

Calvin Sanders a farewell as both returned to the books. Shortly after the celebrating, Calvin was off to George Washington University and Talia went back to Dominican. Both brought the smiles and freshness of youth to BOLT over the summer. We'll miss them both, but we're already looking forward to seeing them back at BOLT next summer.
