Safety and Temporary Employment

Safety is the primary concern for all of us at BOLT Staffing. Recently we were pleased to add a video to our website that speaks to the importance safety of temporary employees. A joint production of the American Staffing Association (ASA) and the US Occupational and
 Health Administration (OSHA), the important message is that workplace safety is the primary responsibility of workplace management. With regard to safety, there is no distinction between temporary or regular,  permanent employees. To have a look at the video, click here, scoll to the bottom of the page to find it. Feel free to pass it along to anyone in your organization who may benefit from it.
Studies show injuries are most likely to occur during the first five days on a new job. Because many temporary assignments are a week or less, it's obvious that the onboarding process must include all relevant safety information for all new employees in your workplace, including temps.

Meet Trevor Potter, the Newest Member of BOLT's Team
|

We're happy to welcome Trevor Potter, our new Staffing Assistant at American Canyon. Trevor is a Solano County native, a graduate of Vacaville's Will C. Wood High School and attended Solano Community College. His varied background includes work as a dialysis technician, paramedical examiner and clinical lab assistant. Leaving behind the pressures of the medical environment, he's looking forward to helping good people find good jobs.
He's handling the front desk and incoming calls. If you stop by or the next time you call in say "hi" to him.
