Once we leave school behind, we're inclined to forget about a tool that remains ready to help us throughout our lives. If you haven't stepped into it for a while, now might just be the time to visit and see what's waiting there for you.

If you're looking for a job, you'll find the print version of most local papers as well as national publications like The Wall Street Journal. If you have a computer, you're welcome to bring it and access the library's WIFI. If you don't have one, you can use the library's PCs waiting for public use.
Very often you can get the professional advice of librarians and other staff members on composing your resume and cover letters.

Have you ever got into your car ready to drive to work and it wouldn't start? Normally you would be out of luck, shut out of a day's work and a day's pay. However the digital age is starting to change all that. With a smartphone app called "Uber" you are a couple of taps away from having an economical ride arriving at your home and rescuing your day.

Uber is an extremely convenient transportation service, and it is beginning to creep from the major cities and into the suburbs. The accessibility of "your own personal driver" whenever you need it, is beginning to create new transportation options in the North Bay.  (More)
