HEALTH PLANS COMING SOON!
Employees must enroll between December 15, 2014 and January 13, 2015
In keeping with our commitment to compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA/"Obamacare") BOLT will soon be offering two health plans for you to choose from. The first is called the Essential StaffCARE (ESE). It will cost $19.98 per week for the employee. There will be more details coming about costs for covering families, but we'll keep it simple here so you can compare basics. The other plan is called Minimum Essential Care (MEC). It costs $72.79 per month for the employee. Cost-wise, both are very nearly equal, about $86 per month for the ESE, which is billed weekly, and $72.79 for the MEC which is billed monthly. There is a substantial difference in coverage, however. The ESE offers: - Doctor visits, x-rays, ER visits, hospitalization,
- Pharmacy benefits, etc.,
- plus (optional) Vision, Dental, & Life Insurance
- No copays or deductibles
The MEC offers: - Wellness checkups/preventative care only
- No copays or deductibles
You may choose either plan or neither. The MEC is "ACA-approved" while the ESE is "excepted". We will have more information coming about what that means. For now the important point is that you begin to prepare to make a good decision for your healthcare by January 13, 2015. Finally, be sure that you actually need coverage from BOLT. For example, often our employees are covered by a spouse's plan. Keep your eyes open for more information.

Holiday Hours for Thanksgiving and Christmas
BOLT offices will be open as usual, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM except as follows:
Thanksgiving:
Closed Thursday November 27 and Friday November 28.
Christmas:Closed Thursday December 25 and Thursday January 1.

Julia just relocated from Chicago. For some reason she thinks she's found paradise in Sonoma's wine country! She understands that there aren't many major TV outlets in the Valley, but she is open to applying her extraordinary background in television, research and public presentation on behalf of local companies who can use the talents of an experienced professional used to the pressures of media production as well as the demands for accuracy and diplomacy. Timesheets & Paychecks over the Holiday
We will be closing the offices on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28. That means your timesheet is due by 12:00 Noon, Monday 11/24. Direct deposits will be made no later than Friday 11/28. Checks will be available for pickup Wednesday, November 26 between 12 PM and 5 PM. If you missed Monday's timesheet deadline, you will be paid Friday, December 5th.

We will mail W-2s by January 31, 2015 to the address we have on file for you. If you've moved this year, please be sure to contact us and to confirm we have your correct mailing address.
