Napa Humane Gets a Donation from BOLT

 

On November 15, BOLT Staffing made a donation to Napa Humane in recognition of the contribution our employees make to the local economy. This was our way to participate in National Temporary Employee Week. Of course we also owe a thank you to you, our clients for making it all possible. 
Napa Humane makes responsible pet ownership possible for area residents by providing affordable services for animals like low cost spaying and neutering.  Thank you to our clients and employees!

Over the past year we developed a relationship with a particular client and came to understand his business and the kind of people who would succeed in it.  As it happened, recently someone came through our door that fit the client's business to a tee.  Because we understood the client's needs we were able to identify this guy as someone they didn't want to miss.

Holiday Hours
From Dec 19 to Jan 3 We'll be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Fridays.  Of course we'll be closed Monday, Dec 26 and January 2.
Bolt is normally open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM weekdays and on call evenings and weekends.

It's natural to focus on the fees an agency like BOLT charges for our services and compare them to the cost of putting an ad on Craigslist and a few other job sites and conclude it's cheaper to go it alone.  That is the conventional wisdom.  As is so often the case, the reasoning might be conventional, but it wise it's not!  In fact it can just be wrong.

Using an agency like BOLT to find employees does seem more expensive to find a new employee, and if you live in a perfect world it could be.  However, what's surprising is that if you use an agency's skills properly, you actually save money.  Sound crazy?  Follow me and see where we go.
