United Way St. Croix Valley is grateful for First National Bank of River Falls' continued volunteer support of the Food Resource Center. Western Wisconsin Health Earns Family Friendly Workplace™ Certification

Western Wisconsin Health recently received Gold certification as a Family Friendly Workplace™ from the United Way St. Croix Valley's Success By 6 initiative. This certification recognizes businesses that actively invest in programs and practices that support employees and their families. The family friendly practices Western Wisconsin Health was recognized for include health care coverage, paid time off, flexible work schedules and an Employee Assistance Program.

"The environment we create for our staff is a cornerstone to creating a healthier community," said Alison Page, Western Wisconsin Health's CEO. "Being a parent is a 24/7 job; we strive to make accommodations in order for working parents to be both excellent parents and employees. We hope that other employers in the area will follow our lead."

Woodville-based OEM Fabricators, Inc. recently received Gold certification as a Family Friendly Workplace™ from the United Way St. Croix Valley's Success By 6 initiative. This certification recognizes businesses that actively invest in programs and practices that support employees and their families.

The family friendly practices OEM was recognized for include health care coverage, paid time off, flexible work schedules and an Employee Assistance Program.
