Staff Spotlight - Meet Lara Otsuka

Lara Otsuka is our new Success By 6 Engagement Specialist, focusing on our Family Friendly Workplace program.

Please tell us a little about yourself.
I recently moved here from Chicago, where I had lived for 20 years. I'm married and have two daughters and one (very large) dog. After college, I was a reporter for a community newspaper and then attended law school and practiced law for several years. After my children were born, I "stayed home" for several years and became actively involved as a volunteer for several local nonprofit organizations.

Donate Your Social Status

Help spread the word about United Way St. Croix Valley and the work we are doing in Western Wisconsin. During March we are providing different facts about hunger, education, health, housing and income in Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties for you to "donate" your status to on your social profiles.

All you have to do is select a United Way fact (all are under 140 characters) and post it as your status update on your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or any of your other profiles.

You know how today's technology can connect people like never before--so please join United Way in this grassroots campaign to inform and advocate for change.

Anonymous Donor Sponsors March Food Resource Center Shipment

An anonymous donor sponsored the March United Way St. Croix Valley Food Resource Center shipment benefiting 12 area pantries and two shelters. The donor is a Platinum sponsor. United Way is thankful for the support.
