fruit bags for seniors
Renea Aeschliman and volunteers for the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) packed "Love Bags" for approximately 120 homebound senior citizens. The bags contained apples, oranges, bananas and tangerines. The insert read, "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, This Gift of Fruit Is Just for You. Happy Valentine's Day. Compliments of ADRC and United Way St. Croix Valley in memory of former Board member Susan Obermueller by her family and friends." The memorial gifts will allow fruit to be purchased for several additional years.

Donate Your Social Status
Help spread the word about United Way St. Croix Valley and the work we are doing in Western Wisconsin. During March we are providing different facts about hunger, education, health, housing and income in Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties for you to "donate" your status to on your social profiles.

All you have to do is select a United Way fact (all are under 140 characters) from the Donate Your Social Status webpage and post it as your status update on your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or any of your other profiles.

You know how today's technology can connect people like never before--so please join United Way in this grassroots campaign to inform and advocate for change.
