story4United Way Supports Tax Assistance
myfreetaxes.com
United Way of Wisconsin has received grant dollars through United Way Worldwide to increase the number of Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) eligible individuals that utilize free tax filing services in Wisconsin--specifically, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites and United Way Worldwide's MyFreeTaxes online tax tool.

MyFreeTaxes.com empowers working individuals and families with the household income of $60,000 or less to access free tax preparation and filing assistance services online. The tool is sponsored by the Walmart Foundation--in cooperation with United Way Worldwide, Goodwill Industries International and the National Disability Institute--and is powered by the H&R Block.

Be sure to visit MyFreeTaxes.com or contact the local Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College VITA Program at 800-243-9482 ext. 4331. Click here for an informational flyer.
