Welcome to your local United Way's December e-newsletter. We hope you are having a wonderful holiday season and are staying warm in this frigid weather! In our office we are wrapping things up for 2013 and are looking forward to a new year of working to better our local communities. As you are finishing up your year-end giving, we hope you will consider our Holiday Gift Catalog, featuring items that will help the greatest local needs and get 2014 off to a good start in Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties. Food Resource Center Gifts Matched on #GivingTuesday

United Way St. Croix Valley participated in this year's #GivingTuesday December 3, a day for giving back after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We raised $655 toward a month's worth of food for our Food Resource Center, which will be matched by an anonymous donor. We are thankful for everyone's support of their local United Way on #GivingTuesday.

First National Community Bank Supports United Way

First National Community Bank recently completed its 2013 United Way campaign. Pictured are United Way St. Croix Valley Executive Director John Coughlin and First National Community Bank Human Resource Manager Gloria Green, who has led the FNCB campaign for more than 20 years.

Chipotle Fundraiser Supports United Way

United Way St. Croix Valley thanks the Hudson Chipotle restaurant for holding a fundraiser on December 9. Fifty percent of the proceeds between 5-8 p.m. went toward United Way.
