United Way St. Croix Valley has been running its annual online auction throughout the month of June. All proceeds generated by this year's auction will be used to support programs that provide basic needs like food and shelter in St. Croix, Pierce and Polk Counties.
June 24 marks the final week of this year's auction, featuring items such as a $100 grocery gift card to Ptacek's IGA of Prescott and two Justin Timberlake concert tickets.

 Xcel Energy Presents Donation to United Way

On May 16, Xcel Energy's Trudy Popenhagen presented a check for $27,214.18 to United Way St. Croix Valley. The donation represents the Xcel Energy Foundation dollar-for-dollar match of area employees' contributions to the 2012 campaign. These dollars fund programs like the Baby and Me classes at Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley (pictured) and other services that create opportunities for a better life for everyone in the communities served by United Way.

Knights of Columbus Sponsors June Food Resource Center Shipment 
| United Way St. Croix Valley is thankful to Knights of Columbus, Council #1762 for its $2,500 sponsorship of the June 2013 Food Resource Center shipment. Pictured are, left to right, Grand Knight John Knutson and United Way St. Croix Valley Executive Director John Coughlin.

June Corporate Leader - Westfields Hospital

Westfields Hospital of New Richmond was one of United Way St. Croix Valley's top corporate supporters through the fall 2011 campaign season. The hospital raised approximately $10,500, with nearly a quarter of employees donating to the campaign.
Westfields is a full-service hospital offering emergency services, specialty clinics, and maternity services, as well as medical and surgical inpatient and outpatient care.
