| Welcome to our May e-newsletter. This month we are excited to share with you the results of our recent Facebook fundraiser with PressEnter!, as well as information on one of our most fun fundraisers of the year, our Online Auction, which will begin June 3 and last through the month.

United Way St. Croix Valley will be running its fourth annual online auction throughout the month of June. All proceeds generated by this year's auction will be used to support programs that provide basic needs like food and shelter in St. Croix, Pierce and Polk Counties.
Each week from June 3 to June 30, United Way will post new donated items and services on eBay. This year some of the items that will be offered include:
- Two club level Paul McCartney tickets (donated by the United Way Board of Directors)
- $150 worth of groceries (donated by Ptacek's IGA and Family Fresh Market)
- Two Justin Timberlake concert tickets (donated by United Way Executive Director John Coughlin)
- Two Avett Brothers concert tickets (donated by Somerset Ampitheather)
- Variety of sports tickets and memorabilia from teams including the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Twins and St. Paul Saints

 PressEnter! Gives to United Way Through Facebook Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who participated in last month's Facebook promotion with PressEnter! United Way St. Croix Valley received a total of 338 new "Likes." Pictured is PressEnter's Deena Reisman presenting the check to United Way Executive Director John Coughlin.

County Market of Hudson was again one of United Way St. Croix Valley's top corporate supporters during the 2011 fall campaign. The local store and its employees donated more than $10,000 in employee pledges and gifts, special event fundraisers and a corporate gift.
County Market Hudson features produce, dairy, frozen food, health and beauty, floral, deli, bakery and meat departments, and also offers many services such as dry cleaning, shoe repair, local utility payments and more. It also has a full service pharmacy and postal contract station.
