Holiday Hope Fundraiser Results
| United Way St. Croix Valley's Holiday Hope online fundraiser, which ran from December 7-21, raised $945 for local nonprofit programs. The top fundraiser, Jean Larson, raised $895 dollars, which allowed her to choose where half of all the money raised would be donated. Larson chose the local Success By 6 program. The other half will go towards the general fall 2012 United Way campaign benefiting St. Croix, Pierce and Polk Counties. United Way St. Croix Valley is grateful for Larson and everyone who helped make the Holiday Hope fundraiser a success.

| The Student United Way at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls held a food drive in the University Center during one of the last weeks of the fall semester, as well as during two holiday concerts held at the university. Pictured are the boxes they collected, which were distributed at the Food Resource Center in Hudson. United Way is grateful to Student United Way President Abby Mediger and UWRF Professor and St. Croix Valley Symphony Orchestra Director Dr. Kristin Tjornehoj for their help organizing the drives.

January Corporate Leader - Donaldson Company

Donaldson Company, Inc. is one of United Way St. Croix Valley's most dedicated corporate partners. The staff at its Baldwin, WI plant gave nearly $13,500 to United Way in the 2011 fall campaign, and a corporate gift of $8,000 brought the company's total to more than $21,500.
Donaldson's Baldwin plant is a heavy metal manufacturer that serves two major markets--Industrial Air Filtration (IAF) and Defense Engine. The plant is a participant in the State of Wisconsin's Green Tier Program. Green Tier organizations exceed regulatory compliance and voluntarily commit to superior environmental performance.
