  2013 Scholarship Awards Luncheon 
The annual Scholarship Luncheon of the CALIFORNIA FASHION FOUNDATION (CFF) and the TEXTILE ASSOCIATION OF LOS ANGELES (TALA) is scheduled for April 18th, 2013 at the California Market Center in Suite C855 from 11:30am - 2:00pm.

 

A student from each of the participating Fashion curriculums will receive Scholarship funds. Participating Schools are: California State University, Los Angeles, El Camino College, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Los Angeles Trade Technical College, Mt. San Antonio Community College, OTIS College of Art and Design, Pasadena City College, Woodbury University
.  

Awards will be presented in the names of...

Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM)
DEBUT Runway Show
On Saturday evening, March 23, 2013, FIDM presents DEBUT 2013, a Fashion Show at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.  Supported by Industry Leaders and the Business Community, proceeds from this evening will benefit the FIDM Scholarship Foundation. The event showcases exciting and unique collections from FIDM's graduating students in the Fashion, Theatre Costume, Interior, Textile and Graphic Design Advanced Study Programs.

31st Annual Scholarship Benefit & Fashion Show 
Otis' 2013 Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show is being held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton. Show your support with a sponsorship, buy individual tickets, purchase an ad in the tribute journal, provide underwriting, or make an in-kind donation; and you can now make your gift online. Three Dimensional Thinking in Autism and 

Stress Related Disorders

The Profectum Foundation's 1st International Conference is coming to Pasadena this April! It is co-chaired by local pediatrician, national autism expert, and Villa board member Dr. Ricki Robinson.

 

April is Autism Awareness month and the conference, entitled, "Three Dimensional Thinking in Autism and Stress Related Disorders" will feature presentations by expert practitioners such as Dr. Ricki Robinson and psychologist Mona Delahooke, Ph.D. 

 

The Profectum Foundation is a newly formed foundation dedicated to advancing the development of all children, adolescents and adults with autism and special needs.Villa is a resource partner for the the conference.
