The 65th Annual Fashion Industry
Christmas Party for Children
Quite a Celebration!

On December 12, 2012 the CALIFORNIA FASHION FOUNDATION (CFF), honored a TALA holiday tradition with a party for elementary school children from Para Los Niņos, Delores Huertes Public School, Boys & Girls Clubs of Los Angeles and Boys and Girls Club of East Los Angeles.

The event included gorgeous decorations by the California Market Gift & Home Center, the Radio Disney "Rockin' Road Crew", a 'live' Santa Claus, Roosevelt High School Latin Jazz Group, piņatas, and great food by Market Restaurant...a wonderful time was had by all.

Toy Giant Mattel provided a 'special' pricing accommodation for the gifts as far as pricing, and each child received a FIDM created 'goodie' bag stuffed with Barbie Dolls, Hot Wheels, Tonka Trucks, t-shirts, plush animals, coloring books, and much, much more.

Special applause goes to the Cooper Design Space, California Market Center, The New Mart, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), California Apparel News, and Market Restaurant. We also honored Hal Kaltman, the late President of the TALA, who was a driving force for this long standing tradition.
