January Beers: Erie Brewing Winter Warmer
One of our favorite seasonal beers is finally back, the Ol' Red Cease and Desist. A wee heavy ale, deep red in color, with powerful caramel malt flavor, finishing oh-so climatically with a smooth warming sensation. (Heyyyyyy now!) Previously know as "Red Ryder BIG Beer," Red Ryder was dubiously awarded two "cease and desist" orders for its name. So, now Erie Brewing re-presents it with a unique new name (inspired by the long arm of the law). Ol' Red Cease and Desist brings more to the table than just a big, malty flavor and climaxing warm sensation, it brings a legal record! And aren't we all just a sucker for a bad boy? Oh, did we mention it packs an ABV of 10.1%? Yeah, so, you might want to drink this one slow.

| Wine: Let Them Eat (Or, Rather - DRINK) Cake!
If you've given up cake and such for the New Year, don't worry; we've still got a way to help you celebrate life's everyday sweet and joyous moments thanks to this month's wine selections from Cupcake Vineyards. Offering an extensive portfolio of finely-crafted wines, Cupcake Vineyards sources the best grapes possible from vineyards all over the world to craft their delicious red, white and sparkling wines, each sharing a balanced style that makes it easy for you to switch from one Cupcake wine to the next. Here are a few choice "cupcakes" to try:
Red Velvet - As rich, soft and elegant as red velvet, this blend delivers over-the-top aromas of chocolate, deep dark blackberries and luscious red fruits that follow through to the palate. Finish with a hint of coconut and creamy mocha that shows unmistakable intensity and length. Red Velvet combines Zinfandel, Merlot, and Petite Sirah. Each varietal adds distinct characteristics and lends structure, aroma and depth of flavor. They ferment each varietal separately before blending. Finally, a unique oak regime infuses creaminess.
Merlot - Sourced from vineyards on California's Central Coast, Cupcake Merlot is big and bold. Full-bodied yet smooth, the wine shows flavors of red cherries that evolve into decadent levels of cocoa, spice and espresso as well as a smooth finish. Moderated by the Pacific Ocean, the unique topography and climate of the sun-drenched Central Coast produces world-class wines. The Merlot grapes are cool fermented for a slow process that retains aroma and complexity. A regimen of pump-overs extracts soft tannins and color, and grape skins are pressed before reaching dryness to preserve a lush tannin structure. Aging in American oak barrels adds more richness and complexity.

B Creative: Artist Open House featuring Rustin Robinson
Saturday January 10th
7:30 PM with live music!
Rustin Robinson has been referred to as an "artist" most of his life, but didn't consider pursuing it as a career until college. He attended USF as a Fine Art major and Ringling School of Art and Design for Illustration. Prior to graduating, he moved to New Orleans and worked under the artist David Harouni. He ran one of his galleries until hurricane Katrina brought him back to Orlando.
A few months after evacuating back to Orlando, he purchased a bicycle and absolutely fell in love with it! Believe it or not, some of the first cyclists that he met in Orlando were Jen and Darrell (who were at the UCF game at UF tailgating in a parking lot). He enjoyed it so much that he soon started working for a local bike shop while continuing to pursue his art.
