Alright, you turkeys! You had your fun stealing candy from your kids' Halloween bags. But now November is here and it's time to start planning some fun for real - of the holiday party variety! B3 is booking up fast so schedule your office party, family gathering, or social group celebration soon.

Mark your calendars - B3's annual Holiday Lights Bike Ride (benefitting Parramore Kidz Zone) is next month on Saturday, Dec 13.

November Beers: Due South Brewing Company

The craft beer brewing scene is growing rapidly in Florida. This month we're introducing you to Due South Brewing Company out of South Florida's Boynton Beach area. Housed in a large 15,000 square foot location, the 15 BBL brewhouse is fired up most days to keep up with the demand for fresh, quality beer. Here's what we've brought to B3 for you to sample:

Category 3 IPA (Cat 3) - Florida Style IPA - Brewed with loads of malts and loads of hops, this golden India Pale Ale is true to the style while maintaining a balance between malty and bitter. A special blend of American hops give this beer its unique flavor. Although fruity and citrusy, this beer has only four ingredients: malt, hops, yeast and water. ABV=6.1% IBU=64.

Caramel Cream Ale - This Caramel Cream Ale was developed to showcase the wonderful caramel notes in dark crystal malts. In addition to the malt complexity and creamy mouthfeel, this beer finishes with a hint of vanilla. There are no substitutes for this very special American Ale. ABV=5.0%. IBU=18.

Wine: St. Francis Sonoma County Claret

St Francis Winery - Creating hand-crafted wines from Sonoma County's best appellations for more than 30 years, Saint Francis Winery is a pioneer in helping to define the vineyards and grape varieties Sonoma is known for today (the first to plant Merlot in Sonoma Valley).

A regional leader in green practices, including initiatives in recycled packaging and water and energy conservation, Saint Francis owns over 415 acres of vineyard land in prime AVAs including Sonoma and Russian River Valleys. Fruit-forward, luscious and well-balanced, and made from 100% handpicked fruit, St. Francis wines are food-friendly and ready to drink. This month B3 is pouring:

Sonoma County Claret -- (Region: America / California / Sonoma County) - Claret is the traditional British term for Bordeaux, and this wine is made up of the classic red varieties of the region: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This blend changes with each vintage. Each variety is fermented separately and lots are kept separate for oak maturation, until blending takes place six months before bottling. Tasting note: Displays aromas and flavors of currants, red and black berries and spice in a full-bodied wine with a velvety mouthfeel.

Seasonal Salad, Sandwich & Soup

Seasonal SALAD: Kale, quinoa, roasted butternut squash and dried cranberries tossed in our homemade tahini sundried tomato dressing.

Seasonal SANDWICH: : Avocado, tomato, red onion, cheddar cheese, salt, pepper and 1,000 Island Dressing hot pressed on pumpernickel rye bread. YUM!!

Seasonal SOUP: Mushroom brie bisque: select sliced mushrooms simmered with shredded potato and shallot in a vegetarian veloute enriched with Brie and Swiss cheeses, Amontillado sherry and snipped chives.

Due South Beer Tasting and Cycling Happy Hour

Thursday November 20th, 6:00 PM

Cooler evenings are approaching making it an ideal time to come out and mix and mingle with some of the most fun cycling peeps in all of Orlando. Our B3 Cycling Happy Hour includes a FREE beer tasting (at 6:30 PM) featuring Due South Brewing Company plus a few appetizers on us, as well as $1 off beer and wine until 8PM.

Once again the amazing metal and recycled art of B3 favorite Jim Lakey, owner of Gallery on the Edge,will make an appearance on our café walls and counters. His art sells FAST and makes for fantastically creative holiday gifts, so come stake your claim on your favorite pieces soon.

About Jim: After buying his first welding torch in 1995, this self-taught metal artist started experimenting with metal he had around his house. Once that ran out, he decided to start using metal that was being discarded. Discovering that recycled material could be used to make cool art work, The Art of Recycling was born. Jim's art is funky and fun and he hopes you will enjoy it as much as he loved making them.
