 Happy Father's Day!
Greetings!
So ... "Dads" ... WE think they're pretty awesome. And if you think they're pretty awesome, too, we invite you to bring YOUR special poppa (or daddy equivalent) to the café this Father's Day (Sun. June 16) and let's celebrate those delightful dudes in all their awesome dad glory.
Our Father's Day hours are 8AM-3PM. Fathers get a free brewed coffee, iced tea or house beer just to show you how much we appreciate all that you do.

June Beers: Beers for Balmy Weather!
Summer is here, with longer and hotter and muggier days. Bleh. Time to leave those heavy, malty stouts and porters to themselves until the weather cools off again. This month, we're lightening things up with some great summer session beers. Easy drinking, crisp, and refreshing ... the perfect choice for the hot Florida weather.
Harpoon Summer Ale, Massachusetts - Their version of the traditional German Kölsch-style ale. This beer, which is light and refreshing, appears to resemble a lager rather than an ale. The Kölsch style is a testimony to the broad spectrum of characteristics an ale can produce, as well as the brewer's art. The body is soft and delicate with a dry, crisp finish. 4.8% ABV
Ommegang Witte (Wheat Ale), New York - A traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Soft and seductive, Ommegang Witte is this summer's version of spicy intrigue and refreshing flavor. 5.1% ABV
Angry Orchard Crisp Cider, Ohio - A crisp and refreshing cider, its fresh apple aroma and slightly sweet, ripe apple flavor make it hard to resist.. 5% ABV

Wine: Summer Whites
With Memorial Day arrived and gone, is it safe to break out those summer whites? Oh, did you think we meant clothes? We meant WINES! Nothing caps off a sultry summer evening quite like a crisp, refreshing white wine. (Or, if white's not your color, how about a light red, like Pinot Noir?)
Ensemble White Blend, California - A harmonious blend of five aromatic varietals. The wine opens with fragrant aromas of orange blossom, honeysuckle, white peach and nectarine. Bright notes of minerality and spice weave gracefully through the fruit, joined by a juicy acidity that carries the sweet, fleshy midpalate into a long, satisfying finish.

Stellina de Notte, Pinot Grigio, Italy - Citrus blossom and fresh rain emanate from the glass followed by honeydew, golden apple, and a bite of kiwi. These delicate yet bracing flavors are will balanced by a nice weight of tropical fruit across the palate.
Snap Dragon Pinot Noir, California - Fruit forward and easy to enjoy, showcasing ripe cherry and berry flavors. It is balanced by sweet oak characters and a hint of mocha.

Seasonal Soup, Salad and Sandwich:
Sandwich: We're still offering this season's 3-Cheese Melt (mozzarella, parmesan and cheddar cheeses melted on locally sourced ciabatta bread and topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, black olives, yellow mustard and our special sauce....add ham and salami for $1.09).
 NEW soup: Masala Tomato Lentil: An earthy blend of brown lentils, mild red lentils and plump navy beans all paired with three varieties of tomato in a natural vegetarian broth infused with onion, garlic, curry and ground pepper. Vegan, gluten free, and tasty-full!
Salad: Spring mix greens, fresh mango slices, juicy fresh blueberries, red onions, pecans and creamy mozzarella, served with Mango Pineapple dressing on the side.

One of our favorite summer charities is making it's return this month: Rock'n'Roll Camp for Girls Central FL ... a week-long day camp for girls of much awesomeness, ages 8-17 years where girls join a band, write an original song, and perform in a live show (at Will's Pub), with a ton of amazingness occurring in, around, and in-between.
