This time of year is about gratefulness and family. Our swim school family has grown over the past year with new swimmers and staff.

 

Personally, our family continues to grow with 3 new grandchildren due in March and April of 2015. That makes a total of 19 grandkids, and makes this commitment to family even more important.
 
Everyone is Family is one of our 3 core values at HFSS. Bob and I rarely have a day in our lives that we are not greeted by someone who learned to swim with us and are excited to say hello. We love it. We love to hear about how our current and former swimmers continue to excel in the water and in other sports and aspects of their lives.

 

We are delighted that our team at Hubbard has had the opportunity to impact some many children and families over the years. We thankful for the trust you place in our swim school family and entrusting your children to our care.

Looking forward to 2015!

 

John LaGrange has taken on the role of General Manager of Hubbard Family Swim School at Kids First.

 

John is the youngest in a family of seven, and was born and raised in Cincinnati. For the past 16 years, he has managed a successful woodworking supply business in Cincinnati. 

 

Prior to that, John oversaw the Home Health Care division of SuperX drugs in the Southwest Ohio / Kentucky region.

 

He and his wife Helen are both graduates of Xavier University. Their two children, Bonnie and Kevin, compete on the Oak Hills High School swim team and enjoy a variety of other activities.

In his spare time, John enjoys woodworking and various home improvement projects. He also is interested in youth soccer and baseball. His family, education and friends are very important to him. He works at Hubbard because he loves the family atmosphere, the solid core values and the opportunity to positively effect the lives of children and their families. 

 

Hubbard Family Swim School LOVES teaching our swim lessons at Kids First Sports Center. Together, Kids First & Hubbard are making a major commitment to the swim program by tearing out the existing bathrooms and replacing them with brand new, beautiful, family friendly 

changing and bathroom area.

 

The demolition part will take place over the Holiday break. We are sure that the buildout will still be going on when you return in January, but a few weeks of using restrooms in the gymnastics area will be well worth the end result.

 

We are excited about this news and are pretty certain you will be too!
