Thousands March for Life in Shreveport! 
Large Crowd Also Expected at Life March South Saturday  

 
  
Thousands of people crossed the Texas Street bridge from Bossier City to Shreveport Saturday morning during the second Louisiana Life March North. The group included all ages, races and denominations, and participants rallied with family and friends to Defend the Defenseless against the tragedy of abortion. 

Participants met with a small group of protestors at Shreveport's Festival Plaza, the end point of the march, but pro-lifers took the advice of Louisiana Right to Life Legal Counsel and State Rep.-elect Mike Johnson and countered the protesters with love and peace.

JOIN US IN BATON ROUGE SATURDAY!

Pro-lifers will be back on the streets to bring attention to the tragedy of abortion this coming Saturday, Jan. 24, for the Louisiana Life March South on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge. Life March South is being held at the outdoor Greek Theatre at LSU in conjunction with "The Response Louisiana," a large prayer gathering on campus the same day.

Gov. Bobby Jindal will be keynote speaker during the Rally for Life. Other rally participants include Pastor Jonathan Stockstill and the Bethany Church Worship Team, Bishop Shelton Fabre of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, and Dr. Kathy Allen, state director of Louisiana Black Advocates for Life.

Activities connected with Life March South will begin at 9:30 AM when the Life Ministry Mobilization area opens. The rally will begin at 10 AM, and at 11 AM the march will begin, concluding at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Participants will then march into the Maravich Center, and Life March South will merge with "The Response Louisiana" to begin a time of prayer for life.

To those who participated in our Shreveport-Bossier City rally and march, we say a big THANK YOU! We are excited to continue to DEFEND THE DEFENSELESS this weekend in Baton Rouge and hope many of you will join us.
