It's Habitat Week!
AHF Partners with Habitat

As part of our Avionté Hope Foundation (AHF) initiative we have nearly 40 employees participating in the local 2016 Habitat for Humanity build. That's over 320 volunteer hours by the end of the week!

Avionté wants its employees to develop passions towards non-profit initiatives and organizations and to get involved in volunteering. To that end each employee  is given three Hope days to use each year, which they can use to volunteer with whichever local organizations they choose. 

In addition, the AHF committee also sets up many volunteer events throughout the year to help employees find opportunities that are of interest to them.

Outlook Connector and Messages/Appointments/Tasks

Why is this report so awesome?
This report is a great resource to report an employee's hours to a customer, calculate discounts for your clients, and get general information about the number of hours one of your employees has worked on an assignment. Want to know how many full time and part time employees worked for you during a specific historical month? Or maybe you need to see OT hours for FLSA purposes. This is the report you want to run. As with all of our advanced queries, you can simply get rid of any of the data columns that you do not want to include in your final report, filter for particular information, and export it to Excel for further formatting and manipulation.

Tip of the Week
Do you have a solution in place for the new FLSA overtime laws?

The new FLSA overtime laws dramatically increase the salary requirements for employees exempt from overtime. This means you can keep an employee exempt from overtime and increase their wages to the new minimum amount or reclassify the employee as non-exempt and pay them appropriately for overtime hours. 

These rules go into effect on December 1st, 2016, so now is the time to begin analyzing your employees' working hours to determine which method is best for your business.
