Habitat Twin Cities
Last week, nearly 50 of our employees volunteered a total of nearly 400 hours while participating in our weeklong build with the Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity chapter. This is the third year that Avionté has partnered with Habitat for Humanity - Twin Cities to help build a home for a family in need in St. Paul, Minnesota. We had a blast!

We've loved volunteering with Habitat for Humanity over the years, as the organization emulates the Avionté Hope Foundation's main goal of helping people help themselves, and driving towards positive change in the local area. Check out photos of our week working at the Habitat site here.

See what some of our employees had to say about the experience below:

"It was such an amazing experience to share with the team, the future homeowners, and the other volunteers!" - Sarah Lowrie
"It's great to be able to help someone in need while doing fun hands-on activities." - Lucas Zwieg

Tip of the Week
Fall Portal Cleanup!
It is that time again, have you changed or updated your portals lately?

Double check and make sure that your portals are showing exactly what you'd like them to:
  • Have you removed questions from pre-screen or interview? If you don't want those screens to show, you'll also need to take those pages out of view on your applicant portal.
  • Run through a test of your applicant portal and refresh your options, move pages and add or delete requirements to create a better user experience.
  • Make sure you are changing your Admin portal password from your default password.
  • Update your password(s) on a regular basis as an added security measure. But make sure to provide your password if you request help troubleshooting anything in your portal!
  • Use the announcements option on your Employee and Customer portals.
  • Introduce new features to employees or customers via announcements such as how to access pay or bill information, how to update information, or message with you via the portal.
