Thank You - From Our Nepal Team 

On April 25th a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the area of Kathmandu, Nepal.
The earthquake hit close to home for Avionté, as nearly 40 of our team members reside in the area of Kathmandu and several of our U.S.-based employees call Nepal their home, and have family and friends living in the area.
Soon after, we set up a fundraising page to raise funds for Avionté Hope Foundation - Team Nepal to use in disaster relief efforts. In the weeks following the first earthquake, many aftershocks occurred, as did a second earthquake at 7.3 magnitude on the Richter scale.
After the earthquakes, about 50 percent of the houses in Kathmandu were marked livable, and the rest must be repaired and/or rebuilt. In addition, about 90 percent of the schools in these impacted areas were destroyed. Nepal was in dire need of help.
Due to the generosity of our clients, employees and friends, the Avionté Hope Foundation was able to raise over $10,000 through the campaign - which was sent over to Team Nepal
The Avionte team in Nepal sent us a video to give us a glimpse of what's happened in Nepal, to explain how the funds will be used, and to express their deep gratitude to all those who donated to the campaign.
