Sending Our Love

Hello,

We wanted to reach out and report with great relief that our entire Nepal team has been accounted for safe and sound along with their families after the terrible and tragic earthquake over the weekend. They are still shaken and scared and most are living outside in makeshift tent cities due to the severe and numerous aftershocks that continue to envelop the region and threaten the fragile infrastructure. I was just there in January and am in disbelief over the loss and  devastation. In fact, I have many pictures of the same temples and buildings that have now been reduced to rubble, it is heartbreaking to think about what the people have endured.  While communication has been difficult and spotty, we've been able to communicate via Facebook and cell phone for those that are able. Power and internet are slowly returning, and we are hopeful that the aftershocks will subside and allow for the rebuilding to begin.

Please continue to keep the Nepalese in your thoughts as they recover from this tragedy. We will be doing what we can to help them  in the coming days, weeks and months and will continue their work from our Eagan office until such time they can return to normal operations, we appreciate your patience during this time. As always we are grateful for your partnership and concern for our team.

Thank you,

Laura

Tip of the Week
E-Verify Update
Last week Homeland Security released a software update to their E-Verify website. The update makes managing your Web Services (Aviont / E-Verify integration) User IDs much easier!

Existing Integration Users
If you are already using the Aviont / E-Verify integration, your Program Administrator is now able to create and update User IDs and reset passwords for Web Services. You no longer need to contact your support team to have E-Verify take care of it for you!

Web Services User IDs are created and managed from your Program Administrator's E-Verify Website account under the new menu option Manage Web Services.

New Integration Users
If you wish to begin using the Aviont / E-Verify integration you will first need to be given access to the Web Services portion of the E-Verify Website.

Provide the following to your Project Manager or Account Manager:
  • Program Admin User ID
  • E-Verify Company Name
  • E-Verify Company ID
A request for access to Web Services will be sent to E-Verify and you will be notified when you have been given access. Your Program Admin can then create the Web Services User IDs for your team.

E-Verify passwords must still be changed every 90 days and Aviont continues to recommend that each user change their E-Verify password from within the Aviont / E-Verify integration.

For more details on creating and setting up your E-Verify Web Services User IDs click here.
Additional information regarding the use of the integration is found in Aviont Help.
