Hello,
We wanted to reach out and report with great relief that our entire Nepal team has been accounted for safe and sound along with their families after the terrible and tragic earthquake over the weekend. They are still shaken and scared and most are living outside in makeshift tent cities due to the severe and numerous aftershocks that continue to envelop the region and threaten the fragile infrastructure. I was just there in January and am in disbelief over the loss and devastation. In fact, I have many pictures of the same temples and buildings that have now been reduced to rubble, it is heartbreaking to think about what the people have endured. While communication has been difficult and spotty, we've been able to communicate via Facebook and cell phone for those that are able. Power and internet are slowly returning, and we are hopeful that the aftershocks will subside and allow for the rebuilding to begin.
Please continue to keep the Nepalese in your thoughts as they recover from this tragedy. We will be doing what we can to help them in the coming days, weeks and months and will continue their work from our Eagan office until such time they can return to normal operations, we appreciate your patience during this time. As always we are grateful for your partnership and concern for our team.
Thank you,
Laura
