The Avionté Hope Foundation (AHF) is constantly providing opportunities for employees to get involved in the community. This week nonperishable food items were collected. The tallest of several food towers stands over 6 feet tall as demonstrated by our lead trainer, Rob Harker.
The food collected will be donated to Second Harvest Heartland, a local food donation and delivery center which collects donations, and delivers them to local food shelves, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior community centers and children's after school programs.
In addition, for every item collected the AHF will donate $1 to Open Arms of Minnesota, which cooks and delivers meals to people who are suffering from over 60 different life-threatening illnesses.
