Wow. We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from our BYT community and neighboring studios. We will forever cherish what has been expressed through emails and social media. The hundreds of heartfelt comments on Facebook alone have brought us to tears and we are still processing the abrupt change and we know you are too. It has been described as a heartbreak, a loss, a devastation, and many of us are going through shock and disbelief. Thankfully, so many studios have reached out to help you find a new home. We have one more studio to add to the list below.

From the Owners of Bikram Yoga Tempe

After more than 13 years of attempting to offer the optimal Bikram Yoga experience, it is with great sadness we announce that Bikram Yoga Tempe will be closing its doors immediately. Our lease has been terminated due to circumstances beyond our control. We have been caught in the middle of an unyielding legal battle between our landlord and insurance company (over issues relating to our roof). We made every effort to stay open. This news is devastating for us, and we imagine it is for our dedicated yoga students, teachers and staff as well.

We regret the inconvenience this creates for you. The difficulties and financial burdens of the past few years have become unsustainable for us. Until just a few days ago, we had hoped we would be able to remain open. It was never our plan to end this way and we offer our profound apologies.

We know you are concerned about your packages, memberships, and payment plans purchased through BYT:

We are grateful many hot yoga studios have agreed to honor memberships and packages (see full list below). You will recognize many of their teachers and they have beautiful facilities (more showers too!).
All auto-pay contracts have been canceled. The remainder of your current month will be honored at one of the locations listed below. You can choose to continue with them.

Over the years, Bikram Yoga Tempe evolved into a vibrant community far beyond our original expectations. So many connections and friendships have been forged here, and they will last a lifetime. For many of you, Bikram Yoga Tempe has been a second home, a sanctuary, an outlet for stress, a catalyst, a place for new beginnings. We thank you for walking in every day and taking a big step towards better health, wellness, and happiness. We hope you will carry this forward and continue to pursue optimal health in your lives. We have had the honor of serving over 40,000 people since we opened in 2002, and we have enjoyed a thriving community of thousands of clients, inspiring teachers and staff. We are very grateful.

We will never forget the wonderful people we have met over the years and we hope to cross paths again soon.
