Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters
Really Violent Pastor Dice
We like fairy tales, don't we? And don't we like all things witchy and warlocky, too? Well, yes and no. I can't decide if this is laugh-out-loud bad or just bad. It seems that this could have had more appeal as a PG-13... but maybe not.

News About What's in the Works for Film and Faith Managing Editor Greg Wright
Kickstarting a TV Pilot I'm a big fan of independent thinking... and even a bigger fan of anything that's at the opposite end of the Bloat Scale from Avatar.
So I thought I'd pass along news about an interesting Kickstarter campaign forwarded to me by its creators in Los Angeles, a pair of Christian writers working in tinseltown. The campaign for the new series Copy isn't live yet... but who knows? Maybe your encouragement is all these dudes are waiting for. Read a little bit of Greg and Jeremiah's promotional blurb and watch their "trailer" for the campaign by clicking through on the link below, and then comment! I think I'd watch the show. Read More... Also from The Pipeline...

Special Coverage of The Hobbit from Editor Mark Sommer

Muster of Rohan Report February 21, 2013
KnittingDaily.com seems an unlikely spot for Hobbit news, but the site has published an article earlier this month about the wool used for the Hobbit movies. This past Saturday, a video inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's poem "Song of Durin's Awakening" was posted on YouTube. Click through to see the video and to find links to stories around the web.
One does not have to resort to wishful thinking to uncover a Catholic worldview in The Hobbit, and Pearce's recent book, Bilbo's Journey, does a fine job of showing how Tolkien's faith is "hidden" within the story. As Gandalf says, the journey will be "very good for you-and profitable too...."
