Zero Dark Thirty
Darrel Manson
This is the kind of film that invites controversy. Indeed, I've read people who are upset with the film for a variety of reasons, some articles contradicting others about all that's wrong with it.

The Guilt Trip
Don't Worry About It Pastor Dice
Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand. Isn't that just the co-starring team you've been waiting for? Many parts of the film really work, and Streisand is, of course, great. But... No chemistry really develops. It's also predictable, and hard to find anything to say about!

Man of Steel
Superman Showcase Brian Dedmon
We comic book geeks have to face the facts: most of what is known about Superman is gleaned from Richard Donner's 1978 film, Superman, starring Christopher Reeve. There's a lot in that film and its sequels that we'd like to forget, like kisses that erase memory and a cellophane "S" that Supes can rip off of his chest and throw at a bad guy.

Little Red Wagon Steve Norton
Even at the young age of 15, Zach Bonner is making an enormous impact.
Whereas most teens his age are only beginning to consider their future and potential colleges, Zach has already been spearheading the Little Red Wagon Foundation (or LRWF), a national ministry to homeless youth, for almost a decade. Working with major corporations-not to mention receiving the support of four different presidents-Zach and his family passionately seek to raise awareness about the over one million homeless youth and children in the United States.
"It's exciting for me to see how these major corporations have become supportive of the mission," Zach beams. "After all, I was only 6 years old when I started."

News About What's in the Works for Film and Faith Managing Editor Greg Wright
The Superbowl You've heard of the Superbowl, right? Well, have you heard of "Crash the Superbowl"? And have you heard of Mark Freiburger? No? Well, I think you're going start hearing a lot more about him. Crash the Superbowl is Doritos' annual contest to select "consumer-generated" commercials to air during the annual NFL hoo-ha. And if you've ever watched the Superbowl, you know some of those Doritos ads beat the pants off the ones made by "the professionals." One of the five finalists this year is Freiburger, a young filmmaker who made his feature debut with Dog Days of Summer in 2007. Since then he's worked steadily with Gary Wheeler producing and directing a string of films based on the novels of Robert Whitlow, including The Trial and Jimmy. Wheeler and Freiburger are great examples of Christians working to produce excellent films both for the faith niche market and for a broader audience as well. Read More... Also from The Pipeline...
