There are so many issues to consider when deciding which candidates to vote for this Tuesday, June 3, for several offices. Which issues are most personal to you? If your boat and your place in our Dana Point Harbor are high on the list, we strongly encourage you to vote for current Dana Point Mayor Lisa Bartlett for 5th District Supervisor. It's a close race and there is a distinct divide among the candidates in their positions on our Harbor and its future... and most importantly, your place in it. Your Dana Point Boaters Association rarely (never before, actually) endorses candidates for political office, but as we embark on such a transformative era for our Harbor, we need a Supervisor who understands that Dana Point Harbor is a recreational BOATING harbor first, and a commercial entertainment destination second.
Please vote on Tuesday, and if your Dana Point Harbor is a priority to you, please vote for Lisa Bartlett for 5th District Supervisor.

We strive to improve the family-friendly atmosphere and breadth of water-oriented activities we all enjoy in our harbor. As Dana Point boater advocates, our strength comes from your support and participation. We are proud of the achievements we've made together on behalf of our boating community, and we won't give up. We work to improve the family friendly atmosphere and breadth of water-oriented actives we all enjoy in the harbor. We serve as the watchdog by ethically protecting the rights of all boaters and representing them when collective action is most effective. We actively gather information and communicate our views to educate boaters, external interests, and public officials. We build and maintain constructive, working relationships to achieve common goals with other harbor stakeholders. We will pass on our harbor to the next generation of recreational boaters in better condition than it is today.
