Greetings!
Happy Halloween from the Battle Family Players. In the summer of 2012, the Firehouse Theatre Project in Richmond put on an outrageously entertaining version of the Rocky Horror Show. Kudos to our friends, Director Jase Smith, who did a wonderful job, earning nominations for Best Director and Best Musical, and Terence Sullivan, as Frank N. Furter, who won Best Actor in the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle awards.
Of course, there is always controversy with casting. Judge for yourself as we share never seen before video of the Battle Family's audition for Rocky Horror with Terence Sullivan playing Frank N. Furter. Shockingly, none of the Battle's were cast in the show! I've got to admit, I thought we nailed it. Damn show business politics! Conor Battle, showing the resiliency that any actor must have, will be seen this Spring in the Tuckahoe Middle School production of "Fiddler on the Roof."
