CAM Approach Provides Hope for Epilepsy
consoling-mom.jpg

Epilepsy is a neurological condition which affects the nervous system causing disturbances in the electrical activity of the brain known as seizures. For the 2 million Americans diagnosed with epilepsy, uncontrolled seizures pose a constant threat to everyday living, causing falls, broken bones and other dangerous injuries as well as sudden unexpected death in some cases.

Although much progress has been made to control seizures with pharmaceuticals, almost one-third of those with epilepsy do not respond to anticonvulsant medications or cannot tolerate the serious side effects. Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) such as
chiropractic and neurofeedback provide a safe, non-invasive, non-drug means to seizure management. If you're suffering from a seizure disorder, contact the office for information on how we can help you get back to daily living naturally.

Many of the "healthy" foods you feed your family on a daily basis are loaded with sugar. It's hidden in places you would never think!
