Creating a Fit & Functioning Workforce
Chronic pain from extended standing/sitting, repetitive injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome or workplace stress can wreak havoc on the body, resulting in missed work.
Chiropractic neurological care helps keep the mind cognitively sharp and the body in proper alignment to prevent muscle strain and fatigue as well as injury, creating a happier, healthier and more productive employee. For employers, this can translate to a reduction in employee downtime and improvement in the bottom line.
Dr. Chiappino and Dr. Reynolds offer corporate wellness workshops for optimizing health naturally by preventing common conditions such as back/neck pain, carpal tunnel, headaches, nutritional deficiencies and other concerns that impact the health and productivity of employees, whether they be high-stress office workers, business executives or warehouse personnel. Call the office for more information on our corporate lectures for your workplace.

Pain on Patrol: Part and Parcel or Preventable?
Studies show that police officers have a high rate of lower back problems and musculoskeletal injuries. Long hours in the patrol car, wearing heavy duty belts, as well as foot pursuits and struggles with suspects are contributing factors to the daily pain experienced by many law enforcement officers. Crossing guards also are at risk for traumatic injuries on the job, with slips, trips and falls being the most common hazards.
Being physically and mentally fit is essential to job performance, particularly to those in law enforcement. If pain is currently part of your daily grind, holistic therapies can help alleviate your condition-- without resorting to pain medications and the accompanying harmful side effects. Neurofeedback and chiropractic address the source of your health problem, not just the pain symptoms, and help you return to the job with a clear mind and restored body.

Trending Now: More Women Delaying Their First Pregnancy
New data released from the CDC this past week confirms the trend that women are putting off childbirth into their mid 30s and older. The numbers also revealed that New York is number 1 in first time moms-to-be who are 40-44 years old. Research has increasingly shown that women of "advanced maternal age" are able to carry pregnancies and deliver babies safely.
Prenatal yoga, acupuncture, therapeutic massage and chiropractic care more frequently during pregnancy can help women achieve healthier outcomes and encounter less medical interventions. If you are considering a later-in-life pregnancy, give us a call to find out how we can assess and address any pre-existing musculoskeletal conditions prenatally. We can help you every step of the way throughout your pregnancy to help reduce any pain and discomfort from pelvic and spinal changes and help you prepare for the rigors of labor and delivery.
