Library Garden Club
(Now forming)
The Library has started a project to transform the beds at the entrance into a Children's Sensory Garden. The goal is to create sections that stimulate one of the senses with color, fragrance, texture, sound. With the help of Janet Macunovich, master gardener, a small group of folks who enjoy gardening, have developed a plan that we plan to begin to implement in September. There will be plenty of work to get the planting done and we will need a dedicated core of volunteers to do the maintenance work before, during and after each growing season. Interested in being a part of this community project? Email Joan Rogers, Library Director, or call 248.618.7691 to sign up.
