Shaping Our Future
Watch for Changes

After celebrating our 50th anniversary we are ready to re-imagine many aspects of library service in our community. To begin we will be making changes in the way we use our interior space. You can look forward to a new "tween" area being developed in the Children's Room. Seating upgrades will include rocking chairs, refurbishing/replacing love seats in the Children's Room, and adding more comfortable seating in other areas.

We are also exploring ways we can offer amenities such as coffee shop services.

Outside, we will be renovating the raised beds at our entrance this spring. The end result will be a children's sensory garden with areas dedicated to plants that stimulate each of the senses, e.g. colorful plants for vision and aromatic plants for scent.

Traditional services will still be on offer - some with a new twist to best meet the needs of contemporary life. And, we had such a great time with some of the celebration events last year you can look forward to enjoying them again, such as the summer concert and the car show.

Looking foward to seeing you often throughout the year - and bring a friend.

Follow the link above for recurring events such as book discussion groups, Waterford Genealogical Society meetings, and Library Advisory Board meetings.
