 Summer Reading
Starts This Month

Life for most of us changes pace from June through
I geek pokeman
August. We make time to relax more, play more, and - of course - read more. Summer Reading Clubs for all ages are on offer at the Library.

This summer's reading program for children ages 3-12 "Dig into Reading" features an underground theme.  Beginning Monday, June 17th, stop by the children's department and sign up for the Summer Reading Book Club.  Students will set their own reading goals and earn some prizes when they meet that goal.  This year, students will receive a paperback book, a pass to the Waterford High Schools' pools, and coupons for free stuff at local businesses.

For Teens, the theme is "Own the Night." Keep track of what you read this summer for a chance to win great prizes. For every book read you will be able to fill out a raffle ticket and be entered in a weekly drawing to win a prize. If you read four books during the summer, you will be eligible for the grand prize drawing.

And Adults can be part of "Groundbreaking Reads."

Read for enjoyment, read for chances to win prizes!

There will be 2 weekly prize drawings every Monday morning starting June 24th

The Grand Prize drawing is August 12th.
