Get Geeked @ the Library

Everyone has something that they are passionate about - something they geek. Maybe you geek football or hip hop. May you geek organic gardening or volunteering. Or maybe you just geek the weather.

Whatever you geek, fun or serious, the Library supports you.

So share what you geek. Share what our public library does for you and our community. And spread the word that the Library appreciates everyone's support.

How? Stop in and sign a "geek board." Checkout the rotating displays of what library staff geek. Take in the rotating display of "I geek..." posters featuring our neighbors. The next photo shoot for posters is June 6th from 4:00p - 6:00p. Mari Latozas, of Photography by Mari, will be on hand taking pictures for more posters. (Sampling of posters is included in this issue.)

We're looking forward to seeing you at the Library because, well, it's what we geek.

Did You Know...

As part of our celebration of National Library Week last month we held a photo session with Mari Latozas, of Photography by Mari. The resulting posters are the basis for a rotating display over the summer months at the Library. Here is a sample.

Another photo shoot with Mari will be scheduled on June 6, from 4:00p - 6:00p at the Library. We would love to see you on an "I geek..." poster. Subjects are welcome to bring a prop related to what you geek.
