Tumblebooks Added to Children's Webpage

We have a new addition to our online databases for our youngest patrons - Tumblebooks!  The Tumble Book Library is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love. They have over 300 titles to choose from.  Children can choose from storybooks, read-a-longs, and non-fiction, including books in different languages.  There are also some extras like videos, puzzles, and games. No downloading or e-book devices required.  Just choose a book, click, and enjoy.  The Tumblebooks link is on our website under the Children's tab.

Did You Know...

According to the people at www.carcare.org,  April is national car care month.  If you're a do-it-yourselfer when it comes to car maintenance and repair, we want you to know that the library has not only car repair books, but also two online automobile repair databases to help you out.

One of our databases, ChiltonLibrary.com, is for car owners who work on their own cars at home, and you can access it if you're online at home, too. Get to ChiltonLibrary.com from home through this page on our website.

The other auto repair database we provide for you is Alldata.com. They call themselves "the world's most comprehensive resource for automotive diagnostic and repair information."  Alldata is used by professional mechanics, but amateur mechanics can use it, too!  Alldata must be accessed within the library; however it is possible to print the information you need so you can take the diagrams and information home with you.
