The Library will have a booth at this great community event, put on by the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce with the help of local sponsors.  

The Expo is your opportunity to shop local and discover the products, services and amenities available in your community. Whether you're a new resident, business or long-time homesteader you won't want to miss Expo 2013!

 

An added bonus - Raffles and Prizes will be plentiful. There will be over 100 booths representing every aspect of Waterford.

 

Admission is free. Tickets are available at the Library. Or, to print your free admission ticket and learn more about this great event visit the Expo webpage on the Chamber's website. The Expo is, truly, your "One Stop Shop" for everything.

The Friends of the Library are selling LED book lights that can attach to your book while reading.  Portable, lightweight, and compact, the cost is $2/light, batteries included. Available at the Circulation Desk. (Proceeds benefit Library programs.)

These include Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Greek, Russian, and Mandarin Chinese. There are also English learning courses for students learning English as a second language (ESL) for many different mother tongues.
