Awesome Awegust!
We have LEAD Time on August 11 at 5:30pm in the worship center with Pastor Matt explaining the vision for the church. Everyone is invited to participate. Then on August 18 we have Starting Point, a chance for all those interested in the possibility of becoming ministry partners with us to get the information they need and complete the membership process if desired.  On August 25 we are having an outdoor festival (with indoor activities also available to get out of the heat) and a baptism service.  Put this on  your calendar!

This Week in the Young Adults
Our current study series for the spring months is focused on the Parables of Jesus. Check out our expected schedule here: http://db.tt/2RywdyCI. As we enter into the last of the parables for our study, we also near the end of Christ's earthly ministry. The final 9 parables we will look at were taught on the same day, likely a Tuesday. This past Sunday we considered the two lessons from Jesus' Olivet discourse: the Signs from a Fig Tree and the Wise and Wicked Servants. Both parables were explanations about the return of Christ. Although Jesus says there are signs of the Second Coming only God the Father knows when it will happen; instead we are all to live "keeping watch" for that day. In what ways might we not be ready for that day, and what can we do to be better prepared?  Check out what all the Young Adults are doing on Facebook! Young Adult Facebook Pages
