Kinderbasketball Registration Underway
Early Registration Discount Deadline Friday, Nov. 16

Registration is now underway for kindergarten basketball. Parents must complete the form sent home last week and return to school with the registration fee. (Kindergarten registration is not being done online.) We hope to have enough players to develop one or more coed teams to play in an instructional league with several other area churches.  This will be dependent on the number of players and coaches.  We will need lots of parental involvement - assistant coaches, team moms, etc.  Please consider being a part of your child's team by committing to help on the registration form. Once the teams have been established, we will hold a coaches' meeting to discuss practice and game scheduling. The registration fee is $100 with a $15 discount when registering by Friday, November 16. Final deadline to register is November 28. The plan is for teams to begin playing in December then continue in January after Christmas break.

Cookie Dough & Cheesecake Sale
Deadline to Turn in Orders This Friday, Nov. 16
Help the CDS 8th Grade Raise Funds for St. Louis Trip
You've heard the expression "pay it forward"- by participating in the 8th grade fundraiser, that's what you will be doing to help our students raise funds for their final class trip to St. Louis! They are selling Little Lamb's Cookie Dough and Gourmet Cheesecakes this year. Please see the brochures and order forms in today's Informer.  The cookie dough is pre-portioned and ready to bake for a quick snack or special occasions. You can help by taking the order form to work or by offering it to your family and friends.  Please do not allow children to go door to door and sell.

Be sure to let your customers know that the dough will keep in the freezer for at least a year! (not that it will last that long)

There Are Prizes!!!

Each student who sells at least one item will receive a participation prize.  In addition to individual prizes, every student who sells 3 items or more have their name entered in a drawing for a $50 cash prize.  We will draw two names for $50 each!

The student who sells the most number of items will win $75 cash, 2nd place seller wins $50 cash and 3rd place seller wins $25 cash.

Class Prizes!!! Each class that sells 30 items or more will receive an out-of-uniform day.

Things to Remember!!!

  • The Cookie Dough sells for $15 - $17 per box.  Please check the price on the order form. Cheesecakes sell for $20.
  • Please collect money at the time of the sale and turn in with your order form. (Do not collect sales tax)
  • Make checks payable to CDS.
  • The sale ends Friday, November 16 - the Friday before Thanksgiving break.  Orders should be turned in to the school no later than that day to qualify for prizes. Late orders will not qualify for prizes.
  • We will send home a note when the cookie dough is ready for pick-up. We expect arrival before Christmas break.

You must pick up your dough and cheesecakes on delivery day and be prepared to refrigerate or deliver to your customers.

Please help if you can. The cookie dough sale has always been a tremendous success and we are looking forward to another great sale!  All profits over the expenses of the trip will go into the PTF fund for other CDS projects. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS HELP WITH THIS SALE!

*Donations of any size will also gladly be accepted. Just send your donation (cash or check made out to CDS) in an envelope marked 8th grade Trip. If you have any questions, please contact Cassie Turner at 901-240-5001 or email cassieturner1@yahoo.com.
