Buck Starbucks Demo Posters |

Dear Friends,
The merciless truth beamed from the Tiger Truck
for
a 5-hour session Tuesday night in front of a
Starbucks in
St. Louis, Missouri. The corporate cowards
called
out two police cars in an attempt to squelch the
rodeo cruelty message of the Tiger and the
industrious
leafleters, but to no avail, as, at least in some areas
of the country, freedom of speech remains protected.
The evening’s demo and Buck Starbucks video was a
huge success! As you can see below, instead of
having to circle the store, the Tiger was able to use
street side parking right in front of the Starbucks!
Everyone in, out, or simply passing by the Starbucks,
could not avoid the images of the ugly abuse that
this supposedly “conscious” company continues to
support. Dedicated local activists handed out flyers
despite the bitter cold, and a clear impact was made
on this front of the fight.

Putting SHARK's rodeo documentation to use outside Starbucks in St. Louis
With your help, Starbucks will feel the hammer of
compassion every night in every city of the Tiger
Tour!
Now is the time! We must get the message of
rodeo’s reality to the public.

St. Louis volunteers warmed by the energy of their actions.
The animals are counting on us and you.
We need committed volunteers along the Tiger’s
route to seek out optimal Starbucks in your town for
Tiger-stalking, and then engage other local activists
for evening demos to leaflet, hold signs, and educate
the public about Starbucks’ support of the atrocities
inherent in rodeo. The animals being used and
abused by Rodeo Thugs must count on you to get
involved in stopping corporate support to this
industry.

Be a part of the Tour!
The Tiger and the St. Louis volunteer crew plans to
stalk Starbucks in that area until December 15th, and
will then be moving on to Columbia, Missouri over the
weekend before dipping down into Oklahoma next
week. The Tiger will take a tour break
before resuming the trek westward after the winter
holidays. If you want to make a difference
by being
a local volunteer on the Tiger tour, please contact
Alissa at shark.central@sbcglobal.net.
The list of potential cities for the Tiger Tour are:
Kansas City
Tulsa
Oklahoma City
Albuquerque

Horrific body slams are routine during steer roping.
Time is crucial! Make no mistake in knowing that
Starbucks is closely watching our campaign, tallying
how many calls they get, and waiting to see if a
large enough demand will be created for them to pull
out of the rodeo industry. We must reach
Starbucks'
tipping point by continuing the deluge of calls,
letters, faxes, emails, and comment cards. If
you
have already contacted Starbucks previously, please
do so
again. If you have yet to make your voice heard,
please do it now!
If
every animal-loving coffee consumer informed
Starbucks today that the company would no longer
receive their business until all ties with the rodeo
industry are cut, Starbucks would have to stop
supporting rodeo tomorrow.
Please go to www.BuckStarbucks
.com for Starbucks contact information, an
online
petition link, a downloadable flyer, and more photos
and information about Starbucks' supported
rodeos.
