Buck Starbucks Campaign Update October 31, 2005

  Dear Friends,

The Buck Starbucks campaign is continuing to accelerate! The outcry from Starbucks customers around the country is putting undeniable pressure on the company to sever all ties with the abusive rodeo industry. SHARK has been hard at work creating even more ways for Starbucks and it's patrons to see the torture that is supported by rodeo sponsorship.

Tiger Truck Stalks Starbucks

Starbucks are everywhere and that's where we'll be! The battle has been joined by SHARK's Tiger Truck, taking the horrifying images of rodeo abuse straight to the doors of Starbucks across the country.

The issue of sponsoring cruelty is too dire and too appalling to let it sit behind dark walls with public relations spinning and corporate negotiators balking. The true lives of rodeo animals must be brought straight to the eyes of the public.

Watch for exciting updates about when the Tiger Truck may be at your town's Starbucks!

Contact the Cheyenne Starbucks

The local management at the Starbucks in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in addition to being a sponsor of the rodeo, proudly held extended hours for Frontier Days. Don't wait for them to hear directives handed out from Starbucks' headquarters--contact this source of support for the Cheyenne rodeo directly!

Tell them you refuse to swallow cruelty with their coffee!

Above, a terrified horse struggles to escape at the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo. Starbucks should be ashamed to sponsor this!
