School Picture Day

Put on your best smile and get ready for school picture day.  We think you will be pleased.  We are using a different company this year so YOU WILL NOT NEED TO PRE-PAY FOR YOUR PICTURES as in the past and YOU WILL BE GIVEN PROOFS in a week to view and select from before you pay.  
APEX Fundraiser
Foundation Fundraiser


Your student's are bringing home their APEX Fun Run pledge cards.  This is a fantastic yearly fundraiser that raises money for our Foundation.  The Foundation supports our music, physical education and numerous other departments at our school.  This fun run is vital in keeping our programs running.  Please come out and watch your student on Thursday, September 1st as they participate in the Fun Run.  The schedule will be as follows:

Pre-School thru 2nd: 8:45-9:45

6th-8th: 9:45-10:45

3rd-5th: 10:45-11:45

STEM Engineering for Kids
After School Programs at SPU September 8th- October 13th


Engineering for Kids is offering an after school program for grades K-8th on Thursdays 1:40pm-3:10pm from September 8th - October 13th.



K-2nd   Junior Mechanical Engineering
3rd-5th  LEGO Robotics: Battle Bots!
6th-8th  Video Game Design & Programming: Platform Games


Students will experience hands-on learning, problem solving, critical thinking, and peer collaboration.  Tuition is $130 per 6 week program.

Box Tops For Education Contest
Start Clipping and Saving!!!


Welcome back to school, parents! My name is Jammie Burwell and I'm our school's Box Tops for Education™ Coordinator.
 
Clipping Box Tops is an easy way to help earn cash for our school.  Just look for the pink Box Tops on hundreds of products.  Each one is worth 10¢ for our school!  All you have to do is clip them and send them to school.  It is important to note that each Box Top has a printed expiration date so don't hang on to them to long. 
 
As of today we are kicking off our first Classroom Clipping Contest.  The classroom who clips and brings in the most Box Tops byFriday, September 2, wins bragging rights and a popsicle party!  Place saved Box Tops in a baggy marked with the teacher and student name and have your child deliver them to their teacher.

Choir officially begins on September 6th at 3:10.
