What a Carlebach Shabbos!

Shabbos night full of rich harmonic voices, packed shul, lebedik davening; a sold-out seuda, great food, fine wine.

Shabbos morning with amazing davening by all, a really awe-inspiring Mishaberach; The Chazzan & choir were totally beyond description.

Shabbos lunch with fancy salads; herring, herring, and more herring; hot deli, chullent & such; yum.

Malave Malka Carlebach Musicale--full to capacity, with with the very talented Srully Williger and his musical friends; lots of Reb Shlomo reminiscences; and afterwards a late-night improvisational session until 2 am in the morning!

What a Carlebach Shabbos!

~~~Chanukah with the Sisterhood~~~
The sisterhood is meeting every two weeks to get things moving after being in hibernation for about twenty years. Our numbers are definitely growing, and we are really motivated to make the sisterhood a super-vibrant and active part of YIBE.  At the last meeting we decided to forego formal elections at this point and just go with co-chairs and committees.
Our first event will be for Chanukah--a "getting to know you get-together."  Chavie and Hadassah are in charge of coming up with the details--we will keep you posted.
Our next meeting is Monday, November 18th, 7:30 at the shul office. It's open to everyone.  See you there.  To contact us, call the shul and leave a message, or Click Here.
Bea & Sarah, co-chairs; Esther, Rene, Felicia, Chavie, Malke, Surita, Ati, and Hadassah
