Sisterhood Update--It's Time to Nominate Our OfficersSisterhood
We had our second planning meeting this week.  We now have seven women very active in getting the Sisterhood back on track as a vital part of our Shul--with more ladies penciling us in their calendars for future meetings.

New ideas keep coming into our minds, which we have on paper (it's really looking good), and we are starting to focus on the question -- What should we do for our first event?  So we are almost ready.

However, there is one important step that needs to take place before we start our official events.  We need a leadership structure--which means we need to elect officers and select committee chairs.

Our next meeting is Monday, November 4th, 7:30 pm.  We will discuss the roles of the officers & decide what committees we initially need.  We will also begin to figure out who might be available to fill these positions.  The actual nominations and elections will happen at a future meeting.

Needless to say, these next few meetings are very important.  Everyone is invited to attend and to become involved in the revitalization of our Sisterhood.  Once we do this, we will have the leadership infrastructure in place to begin the events.

The Monday, Nov. 4th meeting will be held a member's house located near the shul. Please call or email us for the address.  Everyone is encouraged to attend, and to bring friends.  If you need a ride to the meeting, please let us know and we will try to find one for you.

Looking forward!

Bea Pollock, Esther Ingber, Sarah Field

Mazel Tov !!
Mazel Tov to Rabbi and Rebbitzen Snow upon the engagement of their grandson Shlomo Zalka Yablonsky, son of Rabbi Sharir and Shayna Yablonsky of Edison NJ to Gitty Katz, daughter of Avi and Huvy Katz of Monsey NY.  The L'Chaim was this past Sunday in Monsey, NY. Rabbi Chaim Leib Rottenberg, Admor of Forshey, NY, the Rov of the Kallah's family attended the L'Chaim.

May the Yablonsky and Katz families together with the Grandparents see much Yiddishe Nachas from their new Chosson & Kallah and may we always share in each other's Simchas!
