YIBE Sisterhood Returns to Action

The ladies of YIBE are back.  After a long hiatus, our once-vibrant sisterhood is restarting with two official members thus far:  Mrs. Bea Pollack and Ms. Sarah Field.  Mrs. Pollack is a sisterhood past-president, and her vast experience will help lead us to a new phase of vibrancy.

We need your participation, because a sisterhood of only two ladies just doesn't sound like enough.  All ages are welcome.  I anticipate we will have a younger division as well.  Click here to let us know you are interested in finding out more.   And... Please help us spread the word, that the YIBE Sisterhood is Back!
Weekly or Monthly Newsletter?

Tell us what you think.  We are contemplating the idea of changing from a weekly newsletter to a monthly newsletter. Click here to tell us what you think!

Help Us With the Newsletter?

We really need more people to work on the newsletter.  Right now, there are only two of us.  It's become a half-time unpaid job, with long, late hours--not to mention our full time jobs in the real world.

We need people to write articles about anything.  We can help you get started, give you ideas of what to write about, and we do all the final editing.  The articles can be signed or unsigned--which ever you prefer.

Topics?  Why you come to YIBE.  What the downstairs minyan is like, or the upstairs minyan.  Thoughts on holiday davening.  Favorite recipes.  An interesting tidbit from the Gemara shuir.  Memories of YIBE from the past.  Your hopes and dreams for a YIBE of the future. Anything.

We also need people to coordinate the newsletter--what is going to be in the next issue, contact people for articles, learn how to use Constant Contact to design the newsletters.

Is your life a bit too boring?  How about helping the shul?

Click here to let us know what you think and find out more about how you can help.
