A New Year's Message from Our President

In recent weeks we have seen a renewed outpouring of energy and commitment on behalf of an impressively increasing number of members of our Shul. One cannot help but sense a renewed interest in seeing to it that our Shul thrives and occupies its position of leadership and excellence within our greater Community.

Why is this?  Many of us realize that our higher purpose is to be an integral part of the Community and that the place that we consider our spiritual home is very dear to our hearts.

We had an excellent turnout for our End of Summer/Pre-High Holiday Kiddush. We have a team of technologically savvy members who are engaged in bringing our Shul up to the present with our website and weekly e-newsletters. We can now avail ourselves of zmanim, events and timely inspirational teachings by our Rabbi, and there is so much more that we can accomplish together.

Many of us were deeply moved by the impassioned davening and harmonic excellence of our Chazzan and Choir during Selichos and we look forward to more of this awe and change-inspiring davening throughout the Yom Noraim.

On behalf of Young Israel Beth El of Borough Park, may Hashem bless you in this New Year of 5774 with health, sustenance and all good things and assist you in all your endeavors.  Wishing you peace,  happiness and fulfillment.

We thank you for your active participation and welcome you to continue to join us in shaping our future.

Best Wishes for a Chasiva V' Chasima Tova,

Dan Becker, President

Kol Nidre Appeal

We are standing on the threshold of the Yamim Nora'im.  Now is the perfect time for us to show our hakoras hatov and respond with an open and generous heart to the financial needs of our Shul.  You can well imagin the operating budget for a building of this magnitude, and only with your generous assistance can we hope to offset this monumental responsibility.

Since time is of essence, we urge you to call the office at (718) 435-9020 or click the pledge link below (in blue) so that your pledge can be announced on Kol Nidre night.

In anticipation of you generosity, we extend our heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Klei Kodesh and Officers, and wish continued health, prosperity, happiness, nachas and peace for all of Klal Yisrael.
