I have a simple invitation for you...one that might change your life.
I invite you to spend just one morning soon serving the poor.
Yes, I know we're in the midst of Maine's too-short summer, and we are all trying to grab every moment of outdoor, family and recreation time. But I also know that there is nothing richer than sharing a small bit of ourselves, even just a smile, or an open hand or a meal.
We also know is in giving that we receive.
So please RSVP to Tim Boggs, and let me know which of these opportunities to serve you'd like to share in.
1. Essentials Pantry - July 22, 8:30-11:00am
2. Preble Street Soup Kitchen - August 9, 10:00-11:00am
Blessings and thanks,

Essentials Pantry Vacation Volunteers Needed
While many folks go away on vacation at this time of year, guests at the Pantry keep arriving. We could use a few more volunteers for this coming Tuesday. If you have been curious about the pantry, now would be a good time to learn more and help distribute household essentials and clothing to many grateful adults and children. Please email Janet Gordon if you will be able help on Tuesday from 8:30-11:00. As always..... Donations of portable household goods and clothing are needed. Please leave donations in the basket at the Welcome Table in Bonoff Hall.
